Silicone stitch holder cord

This flexible silicone cord is perfect for holding your stitches when you need to remove your needle (to try a garment on or to use your needle for something else).

Push the end of the hollow cord on to the tip of your needle until it grips firmly, then gently pull your needle out of your knitting while feeding your stitches over the cord. Need to put your stitches back on the needle? simply reverse the process. Also very handy for provisional cast-ons! Use stitch holder cord instead of scrap yarn and you’ll be able to mount the provisional stitches easily.
